Description:
This course is designed as an introduction to Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning for the beginner or homeowner. Students will learn the basics of residential systems to include forced air heating and air conditioning maintenance, boiler heating basics and duct repair. How to check the operation of systems, thermostats, general electrical safety, evaluation & cleaning procedures, air filters, duct work as well as the use of associated equipment and tools is included. Please note: this introductory course will not lead to any industry-standard certification.
